We are pleased to inform you that starting from Tuesday the 03rd of September 2024 , we will be using the Ask My GP service for online triage. This service will be available between 08:00 and 11:00, Tuesday to Friday.
Important Information:
- Purpose: The Ask My GP service is designed for assessing acute but non-emergency conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please visit the hospital or call 999.
- Acute Conditions Suitable for Ask My GP:
- Sudden onset of mild to moderate pain (e.g., back pain, headaches)
- Suspected minor infections (e.g., throat, ear, or skin infections)
- Coughs and colds that are worsening
- Mild breathing discomfort, such as a new or persistent cough
- Unexplained mild fever
- Minor injuries that do not require immediate hospital care (e.g., sprains, minor cuts)
- Worsening of mild symptoms in pre-existing conditions (e.g., asthma flare-ups, mild allergies)
Please use the Ask My GP service during the specified hours for these types of conditions to ensure prompt and appropriate care.

The Ask My GP service will remain open for FIT/Sick Note & Medication requests as normal.
