Private Work & Fees

At our practice, we offer a variety of private services to address administrative and medical needs. These services encompass documentation assistance, including letters confirming registration, sick notes, private prescriptions, and patient letters. Additionally, we provide medical examinations and reports, such as sports medical assessments, employment medicals, and shotgun license applications. Vaccinations, including Hepatitis B and ACWY, are also available, along with associated certificates. All services are provided with fixed fees, and payment is required at the time of service. The current lead time for completing private work is a minimum of four weeks.

Private Work Fee List (2024): 

  • Letter confirming Registered with Practice: £18.00
  • Duplicate Sick Note: £10.00
  • Private Prescription Fee: £20.00
  • Private Sick Note: £30.00
  • Patient Letter (including “to whom it may concern”): £30.00
  • Holiday Cancellations Letter: £30.00
  • Letter regarding Fitness to Exercise: £30.00
  • Insurance Extra Information Letter: £30.00
  • Fitness to Travel Letter: £30.00
  • Fitness to Fly Letter: £30.00
  • Child TV Performers Letter: £30.00
  • Occupational Health Questionnaire: £30.00
  • Passport Form Completion: £30.00
  • Sports Medical Assessment: £30.00
  • Exemption from Jury Services Letter: £30.00
  • Exemption from Exams Letter: £30.00
  • Fostering Form & Medical Examination: £75.00
  • Employment Medical (No Examination): £90.00
  • Shotgun Licence Application & Report: £90.00 (£30.00 if a report is not needed by the patient)
  • Insurance Form Completion: £120.00
  • HGV/Taxi Medical Examination: £130.00
  • Employment Medical (Full Medical & Report): £130.00
  • Vaccinations (per dose):
    • Hepatitis B: £40.00
    • ACWY: £40.00
  • ACWY Copy Certificate: £30.00
  • Vaccination Certificate: £30.00
